Seems like a pretty bad decision for any UFA to sign with Vegas before July 1 anyway.

Why not use those 2 days to work out a contract and sign on July 1, it just helps your future team.

Hey EK, spitballing here but what are your thoughts on a trade between the leafs and Duck kapanen and a 2nd or 3rd for Montour , gives the ducks some offensive potential and brings montour back close to home and gives leafs a solid young D man

So many teams need to trade around to fit there best 7 in there protected list, I can see a few powerhouse teams get desimated by this, ducks come to mind 6 guys with nmc hurts
